As a portrait photographer in Baltimore, I have had the honor of capturing some of life's most precious moments. One of my favorites is photographing 1-year-old milestones.
There's something so special about this age. One-year-olds are full of personality and curiosity. They're starting to explore the world around them and learn new things every day. It's a time of great change and growth.
I love capturing the joy and wonder of this age in my photographs. I want to create images that parents will treasure for years to come.
Here are a few tips for photographing 1-year-olds:
Be patient. One-year-olds can be unpredictable. They may not always want to cooperate. Just be patient and wait for the right moment.
Get down on their level. One-year-olds see the world from a different perspective than adults. Get down on their level to capture their unique point of view.
Use props. Props can help to engage 1-year-olds and make them more comfortable in front of the camera. Some popular props include toys, blankets, and balloons.
