Portrait Sessions for Every Age
3-5 Months
4 Month Milestone Session
For 4-month milestone sessions, we take photos of babies lying on their back and tummy, their newfound engagement with their hands and feet, and the baby's variety of expressions. Not all babies will be pretty ready for tummy portraits yet at 3 months exactly, so if you are planning a 4-month session, I recommend waiting until they have reached that milestone. Ideally, babies should be able to raise up onto their elbows and hold their head and chest high for 3-4 minutes at a time. Babies are also starting to grab at their toes, which I love photographing. This 30-45 minute session costs $500 and includes 10 digital images of your choice.
6-11 months
Sitter Milestone Session
We call these the “sitter” sessions because this is typically when babies are reaching their sitting milestone! This is hands down one of the MOST FUN sessions because most babies are not mobile yet and smile easily- parents get a gallery full of their beautiful baby! This session is definitely a parent favorite. I recommend scheduling the session for about 2 weeks after the baby is sitting confidently. I provide all backdrops, props, and outfits for these sessions but you can of course bring an outfit or two that is special to incorporate if you wish. This 30-45 minute session costs $500 and includes 10 digital images of your choice.
12 months
Cake Smash Session
What is a Cake Smash? A Cake Smash is a "tradition" of capturing your child's first taste of cake on his or her first birthday. Most sessions are scheduled within a month of your child's first birthday and usually include more traditional images along with the smashing of the cake. This is one of my favorite sessions to shoot and creates a SWEET memory!
During a one-year milestone session or "Cake Smash" session we will capture portraits of your little one in an outfit of your choice and then move to the sweet part!
We do a variety of setups customized to your preferences. Wardrobe and cake provided by the studio.
This 30-45 minute session costs $600 and you will receive a digital gallery with 10 session images of your choice.
9-18 months
Fruit and Flower Bathtime Session
Baths are a fun session for any baby who can sit comfortably and is a fun alternative to a cake smash session. There are a variety of themes to choose from including lemon, oranges, strawberries, citrus, and all kinds of flowers. This 30-45 minute session costs $500 and includes 10 digital images of your choice.
Beyond Baby
Toddler and Child Portraits
These portrait sessions are for children 12 months and up. We focus on your child's personality with simple setups and props. Portrait sessions last 30-45 minutes and consist of 2-3 sets. Children's sessions cost $500 and you will receive 10 chosen digital images to download in an online gallery.
